Sunset Park Open Studios 2026 (SPOS) is an annual, multi-day arts celebration of exhibitions, events and open studios throughout Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Featuring hundreds of participating artists and art-spaces from across the neighborhood, SPOS is free and open to the public. This year, SPOS will be held from Friday, October 17th through Sunday, October 19th, 2024. Throughout the weekend SPOS will welcome visitors to meet artists, curators and researchers from around the globe, and experience the beauty and diversity of the artistic process in both studio environments and institutional contexts alike.

Exhibitions on View:
In parallel with the open studios, NARS will present two major exhibitions.
A breath and a breath and a breath and its outlines, curated by Katrin Sperry, will be on view in the NARS Main Gallery, featuring works by Olivia Abächerli, Andrea Fortmann, and Katrin Keller, with an artist talk on Saturday, Oct 18, 1:30–2:30 pm.
Simultaneously, BONE ASH, MEMORY HOLES, THE RECIPES, a solo exhition by Yoshie Sugito, will be showcased in the NARS Project Space, with a live performance on Friday, October 17, 7–8 pm.

Directions: NARS is two express subway stops from Manhattan. Take the “N” or “D” to 36 St. Transfer to the “R” one stop to 45 St. Walk to 46th Street then make a right and walk down 46th street to the building on the corner of 46th street and 2nd Ave on the right.
